Concepts and architecture
Trickest platform is built with a workflow-first architecture. All components are designed to enable you to build, maintain, and run workflows with ease. This introduction gives you an overview of the main Trickest concepts and their purpose.
Workflows
Trickest workflow is the main structure of building and computation in the Trickest platform.
Trickest workflows enable you to automate your manual/repetitive processes, scale and accomplish complex tasks with ease, and get richer results, faster.
Easy workflow building, and ready-to-go Trickest workflows, deliver value in minutes — not weeks.
Nodes
Trickest nodes are building blocks of workflows. Nodes are interconnected in a DAG to form the workflow.
While the workflow is the main structure of building and computation in the Trickest platform, nodes are the main building and computation units in the Trickest platform.
Trickest provides several types of ready-to-go nodes available to be used in workflows.
Library
Trickest library is a searchable repository of all ready-to-go nodes available to be used in workflows (Tools and Scripts), as well as available ready-to-go workflows (Templates) available to be used off the shelf or as a base for further modification.
Runs / Results
Trickest runs are the main units of execution and monitoring in the Trickest platform, with workflows as a core. All components are designed to enable you to execute workflows with ease, and get richer results, faster.
Organization
Trickest spaces and projects enable you to organize your workflows into meaningful groups.
Machines
Trickest provides virtual machines required for workflow execution.
Trickest User Interface (UI)
Trickest platform is a web-based interface for interacting with Trickest objects like nodes, workflows, runs, and machines. Explore more here:
