Defcamp: From Meet-Up to Premier Cybersecurity Conference

Defcamp, originating as a small meet-up among friends passionate about cybersecurity, has evolved into a cybersecurity conference after many successful editions. It annually gathers leading cybersecurity experts to share their latest research and knowledge.

The Defcamp Conference is now renowned as the largest international hacking and information security community in the Central and Eastern European (CEE) region. This year, it was held for the 13th time on the 23rd and 24th of November.

It welcomed Trickest alongside 60 speakers and 2000 attendees from 40 countries. Trickest's leadership team, including CEO Nenad Zaric, CPO Mihailo Tomic, and Head of Operations Nemanja Tanaskovic, actively engaged in presentations and networking, spotlighting our Offensive Security Orchestration Platform.

Trickest Platform in Focus

Trickest team took the opportunity to present our offensive security platform to a diverse audience at our dedicated booth on Defcamp. The platform, designed to empower Red and Purple Teams, Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs), and ethical hackers with hyper-scalable, automated security workflows, gathered significant attention. Platform’s intuitive Visual Workflow Builder switch from traditional terminal-based workflows to a low-code environment left a strong impression on our booth’s visitors.

CEO Nenad Zaric Takes the Stage

The highlight of Trickest's participation was CEO Nenad Zaric's dynamic presentation on the Defcamp stage. Read Defacamp’s announcement of Nenad as a speaker at the conference where they highlighted his research and topic of presentation.

Nenad delved into the complexities of dissecting Web Server risks across major Cloud providers – AWS, GCP, Azure, and DigitalOcean IP ranges. His presentation unveiled often overlooked vulnerabilities, such as exposed APIs, logs, backup files, and leaked secrets. His talk, "Cloudy with a Chance of Exposures," was a standout at the event, inspiring valuable discussions among cybersecurity experts later on.
