RSS News Podcast

Overview

Reading every item from a chosen set of RSS feeds takes time, while a written digest is still easy to defer. This workflow turns those feeds into a podcast script and an MP3, giving you a spoken briefing you can review away from the browser. Seed Feed List defines the sources, Collect News Feeds retrieves their entries, Write Podcast Script shapes the selected material for speech, and Speak Podcast Script creates the audio. You can inspect each stage in visual workflows before you run it.

Pipeline

1. Seed Feed List (seed-feeds, script) emits the configured public RSS feed URLs.
2. Collect News Feeds (collect-feeds, tool) reads those URLs and returns feed entries.
3. Write Podcast Script (write-script, agent) turns the collected entries into a script written for speech.
4. Speak Podcast Script (speak, tool) converts the script into an MP3 audio file.

Inputs

• Feed URLs. Public RSS sources read by Seed Feed List. The default is the list saved in that script, which you should review before running.
• Script brief. Instructions used by Write Podcast Script to select and narrate feed entries. The default is the prompt saved in the agent node.
• Voice settings. The voice and language passed to Speak. The default is the configuration saved in the speech node.

Outputs

• Podcast script. A text artifact containing the narration created from the collected feed entries.
• Podcast audio. An MP3 file created from the podcast script.

Can I use my own RSS feeds?

Yes. Replace the public URLs in Seed Feed List and review them before the next run.

Can I choose a different voice?

Yes. Change the voice or language in Speak before you run the workflow.

Does this workflow publish a podcast episode?

No. It creates the script and MP3. Publishing the audio to a podcast host is outside this workflow.

Can I review the script before sharing the audio?

Yes. The script is a separate output artifact. Review it and adjust the prompt before you share the MP3 or run the workflow again.
