# Managed AI

## What is Managed AI

**Managed AI** is model access managed through Trickest. The [Agent](/docs/key-concepts/agent/the-agent) can use it without a provider key. Trickest bills those turns to the workspace.

Trickest enables Managed AI for a workspace.

## Using Managed AI

When Managed AI provides model access, those models appear in the Agent's model picker. Choose one and send a message. There is no key to verify first.

If a verified provider key is connected, the picker shows models from that provider. [Bringing Your Own Key](/docs/using-the-app/agent/bring-your-own-key) explains how to add one.

## Usage and budget

Managed AI usage is listed under **Settings > Agent > AI usage**.

If the workspace has an AI budget, that budget is shown in dollars. Token counts on the same page measure how much was used. They are not a remaining balance of tokens.
